This Pinot Gris "Sweet Tooth Series" is an Icewine produced in its entirety with the rare variety Pinot Gris. The wine has been produced by Rollingdale Winery, located on the west side of Lake Okanagan, in British Columbia (Canada). The owner of the winery and winemakers is Steve Dale. Our reviewer had the opportunity to talk with Steve extensively.
Wonderful old gold colour, very bright and striking, with layer very dense.
Very complex nose, jams of tangerine, grapefruit, apricot, and lemon. Fresh milk, mixture of honeys in reduction, and highest quality toffes.
Surprising assembly of acidity and wood. Incredible unctuously step in the mouth, very long. Highlighting the variety of grapes and evoking all the fruit of the olfactory stage
Pinot Gris "Sweet Tooth Series" 2006, calling from Canada.
Last May our reviewer, Igor Corral, attended the VI edition of the Hall of Noble Wines, Vinoble 2008. In addition to enjoy the French Sauternes, Tokajs from Hungary or Pedro Ximenez from Spain, we found a canadian "jewel".

Rollingdale Winery is a family winery whose philosophy is the development of quality wines using only the best grapes obtained after a organic and thorough vinification. The first vintage from this winery was in 2004. This is a memorable wine that we have not had any compunction in give the highest score.
